At PonyUp4Kids Foundation Inc., volunteers are more than helpers—they’re healers, leaders, and changemakers. Whether you're guiding visitors, caring for our beloved horses, supporting fundraising efforts, or simply spreading kindness, your presence makes a lasting impact on every life you touch.
No experience? No problem! We offer a hands-on Volunteer Training Program that prepares you to become a Certified PonyUp4Kids Volunteer.
In just two hours, you’ll gain the tools, confidence, and skills to serve with heart and purpose.
You’ll learn:
- What makes a great volunteer
- How to communicate and connect meaningfully
- The power of being present and compassionate
- Practical ways to uplift others and support our mission
And you’ll get hands-on horse time with:
- Safe horse handling and grooming
- Equine care, nutrition, and stable management
- Sharpening your observation skills to ensure safety and well-being
At the end of your training, you’ll demonstrate your mastery of safe horse handling and proudly earn your Official Volunteer Certificate—your gateway to making a difference.

PonyUp4Kids in Action
Ryan McElroy Children's Cancer Foundation
PonyUp4Kids attended the Ryan McElroy Children's Cancer Foundation's annual fundraising Octoberfest. The PU4K team brought along spring action horses for small children guests to get in the saddle and their famous equine ambassador, Cody the Shetland pony. Guests at the event enjoyed learning about horses and interacting with Cody.
